Job summary
Outlier, an AI training platform owned by Scale AI, is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, compare AI-generated images and videos to prompts, and write concise explanations of issues, all on your own schedule and remotely.
Earn up to USD $15 per hour with weekly payments and potential incentives. Applicants from multiple countries can apply, with an independent contractor arrangement and no employment
Qualifications
- Fluent English with clear written communication.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
- Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic scenarios.
- Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
- Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.
- Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
Responsibilities
- Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
- Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging adherence to the prompt.
- Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio/video.
- Rating outputs across dimensions and writing explanations in English.
