Job summary

The City of Parksville is seeking an Engineering Technologist II to support municipal civil engineering projects. Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, this role combines office tasks with field assignments to advance infrastructure projects in our community.

Candidates should hold a Diploma of Civil Engineering Technology, be eligible for AS Tech BC, hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence, and have four years of related municipal experience. CUPE Local 401 members encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma of Civil Engineering Technology.
• Eligibility for membership in the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia as an Applied Science Technologist.
• Valid Class 5 B.C. Drivers Licence and a good driving record.
• Four (4) years practical related experience in the municipal engineering field.
