Job summary

PCL Construction Management Inc. in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is seeking an Engineering/Technical Student for a multi-month term starting January 2026.

You will support drawings, takeoffs, and scheduling while gaining hands‑on experience on real projects under mentorship. The role emphasizes coordination, field documentation, and the use of Primavera P6 EPPM and AutoCAD; you’ll contribute to team meetings, deficiency logs, and progress tracking while exploring future full‑time opportunities

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a post secondary insitution and either returning or graduating after the end of this work term
• Have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating drawings and work specific scope/trades/sub-trades
• Conduction of trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours and rates
• Participation in project meetings
• Completion of deficiency walks and updating of deficiency logs
• Takes/coordinates progress photos
• Updates field drawings and produces as‑built drawings
• Project schedule updates and creation of manual schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM
• Creating and maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD
• Monitoring of workforce productivity

Join us as aEngineering/Technical Studentfor our Saskatoondistrict, within our Canadian Buildings sectorfor 4, 8, 12, or 16 months starting January 2026. Depending on your assigned project as a Engineering/Technical Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

• Coordinating drawings and work specific scope/trades/sub‑trades
• Conduction of trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours and rates
• Participation in project meetings
• Completion of deficiency walks and updating of deficiency logs.
• Issues warranties
• Takes/coordinates progress photos
• Updates field drawings and produces as‑built drawings
• Performance of quantity takeoffs
• Verification of site conditions and coordination of drawings
• Set‑up and maintenance of records
• Project schedule updates and creation of manual schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software.
• Creating and maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD
• Monitoring of workforce productivity.
