Job summary

Albert Bartlett in Airdrie is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to manage the site's engineering activities on a 4 on 4 off days pattern. You will lead a team, maximise plant reliability and drive maintenance programs in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The role requires an engineering qualification, strong fault-finding skills, and a proactive, safety-focused mindset. You'll collaborate with Production and Operations teams and support projects to improve efficiency and equipment

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in Electrical/Mechanical/Multi-Skilled
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or food production
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving across electrical and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proactive and solutions-focused with ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration
• Commit to 4 On 4 Off Days Pattern - 0630 - 1900

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engineering activities across the site to maximise plant reliability and performance
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, reliability and safety
• Support equipment installations, upgrades and improvement projects
• Work closely with Production and Operations teams to reduce downtime and improve overall equipment performance
• Ensure all engineering activities are completed safely and in line with food manufacturing standards
• Promote a proactive maintenance culture and support the development of engineering best practices across the site
