Job summary

Vista Projects, a Calgary-based engineering firm, seeks an Engineering Manager to implement execution strategy, steward budgets and schedules, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across projects. You will develop client-focused processes, lead proposals and BD activities, and ensure staffing aligns with program goals while expanding Vista’s market presence.

Required are a P.Eng. with APEGA and 15+ years of leadership experience, plus strong communication and scheduling skills for complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or applied science.
• P.Eng. with APEGA and eligibility for Responsible Member.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant engineering experience with leadership.
• Strong client relationships, communication, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.
• Strong project execution, planning, scheduling, resource and change management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Calgary team to target markets and potential clients.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams and budgets.
• Develop client-specific work processes aligned with Vista’s procedures.
• Prepare professional proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, and client relationship activities to win work.
