Job summary

Lyft is seeking a leader to drive the Rider Loyalty team. You will own the membership, rewards, and benefits platform end to end, coordinating daily with Product, Design, Data Science, and Partnerships to deliver impact at scale.

You will lead engineers across iOS, Android, and Server, establish a strong technical bar, and nurture growth by matching people to opportunities and providing early feedback. This hybrid in-office role values collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in direct people management of engineers.
• Experience shipping consumer products used by millions monthly.
• Experience with AI tools in real-world work and awareness of limits.

Responsibilities

• Own the Loyalty roadmap from strategy through delivery and coordinate with Partnerships and Rider Pay.
• Build and scale membership, rewards earning and redemption systems and benefit delivery.
• Maintain a high technical bar via architecture reviews, debt management, observability, reliability, and on-call.
• Grow engineers by mentorship, setting expectations, and timely feedback.
