Job summary

Lyft is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a 6-8 person team in the Marketplace Pricing group. You will own dynamic pricing systems at Lyft’s scale, partnering with Science and Product to define the roadmap and drive operational excellence.

You will lead engineers and data scientists, balance technical tradeoffs, and grow future leaders in a fast-paced environment. The role is hybrid and in-office in Toronto.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of software development experience with architecture and design discussions.
• At least 3 years of people management experience with growing engineers.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, Science and Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive engineering execution for the team's roadmap from planning to delivery.
• Define engineering vision and plans with Science and Product and trade off technology, product and business needs.
• Facilitate cross-functional decision-making and manage blockers with Marketplace partners.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and communicate risks and dependencies.
• Lead architecture decisions and productionize models with strong experimentation and monitoring.
