Job summary

Canada Royal Milk is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the plant's engineering, maintenance, and utility operations in Kingston, Ontario. You will collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, HR and HSE to meet production and safety goals while developing a high-performing team.

The role emphasizes safety culture, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement through TPM and lean practices.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years leading cross-functional teams in manufacturing.
• Experience in food manufacturing is an asset.
• P.Eng. certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct all engineering activities and organize resources.
• Plan and manage departmental budget.
• Oversee electrical, mechanical, powerhouse, and wastewater systems.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and inspections.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality Assurance daily to resolve issues.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, FDA, CFIA compliance throughout the plant.
• Provide leadership, feedback, and development for staff.
• Mentor and allocate tasks to qualified engineering resources.
