Vanta is seeking an Engineering Manager in Canada to lead two squads focused on automating security assessments and scaling enterprise- facing products. You will partner with product and design to set priorities and ensure engineering champions the why behind every build.

You’ll drive architecture discussions, mentor senior engineers, and foster a high-velocity, high-quality delivery culture while leveraging AI to enhance workflows and outcomes across the Trust Center and Questionnaire product

Formación

• 2+ years of full-time engineering management experience leading teams of 6–8+ engineers.
• Track record of high-execution teams with disciplined delivery practices (tech specs, weekly goals, timelines).
• Experience mentoring and upleveling senior ICs.
• Product engineering background with customer-facing software experience.
• Technically engaged in architecture discussions and tradeoffs.
• Able to shape product and long-term technical strategy with a PM.
• Strong decision maker balancing ambiguity, data, speed, and quality.
• Uses AI in day-to-day work to enhance outcomes and maintain quality.

Responsabilidades

• Lead two squads to deliver consistently against a clear product roadmap.
• Foster a high-accountability delivery culture with weekly goal tracking and reviews.
• Partner with product and design to shape roadmaps and tradeoffs.
• Guide architecture discussions and sound engineering choices without coding everything.
• Attract, grow, and mentor senior ICs and build a high-performing team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with GTM, AI Platform, and partners to unblock work.
