A small community in British Columbia is seeking a Manager of Engineering and Asset Leadership to oversee municipal infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will lead engineering staff and collaborate with external partners to ensure long-term community services. With five years of progressive experience required in municipal engineering and a relevant educational background, this full-time position also includes a generous salary between $91,890 and $102,100, along with full employer-paid benefits and a municipal pension plan.

Surrounded by mountain ranges and beautiful lakes and rivers, Smithers is a northern gem. The town has a population of around 5,400 and serves approximately 15,000 people in the surrounding region. Reporting to the Director of Development Services, the Manager of Engineering and Asset Leadership leads engineering staff and external partners in planning, delivering, and managing municipal infrastructure projects while driving asset strategies that ensure reliable, long‑term community services. This is a full‑time, exempt position.
