Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. in Calgary is seeking an Engineering Lead to oversee the delivery of engineering services with a strong focus on leadership, staff supervision, and financial performance.

The role blends advanced engineering practice with strategic oversight and client engagement. The ideal candidate will hold a P.Eng with APEGA, have at least 10 years of related experience, and lead complex projects, ensuring quality, safety and regulatory compliance while driving business development

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil (Structural) or Welding.
• P.Eng. registration with APEGA in good standing; eligible for designation by Acuren.
• Minimum 10 years of related engineering experience, including senior technical/review responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of engineering and technical staff with priorities and performance expectations.
• Coordinate workflow, budgets, and staffing needs; oversee P&L reporting and invoicing for projects.
• Perform advanced engineering evaluations, reviews of calculations, designs and reports for accuracy and code compliance.
• Serve as APEGA Responsible Member for Calgary office under Permit to Practice.
