Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited in Brampton, Ontario is offering a Summer 2027 PEY Work Term for engineering students. You will support discovery, development and delivery of ongoing solutions within supply chain and distribution contexts.

The role blends on-site and remote work under a hybrid model, with up to 1 day remote per week and travel to distribution centers and stores across Canada as needed. Candidates must be enrolled in an appropriate engineering program and ready to commit to 16 months.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Industrial Engineering or Management of Engineering program or related discipline.
• Experience in Distribution centre operation is an asset.
• Strong PC skills: Word, Access, Excel; able to manipulate data and create reports.

Responsibilities

• Support projects or processes, controls and integrate activities used in executing projects.
• Use initiative to address concerns and roadblocks within projects.
• Maintain accountability and focus on results.
• Develop and manage relationships with internal customers to resolve issues.
• Assist in improving and streamlining processes and methodologies.
