Job summary
Pet Valu in Brampton, Ontario is seeking an Industrial Engineering / Solutions Engineer to optimize our end-to-end supply chain. You will analyze warehouse processes, design scalable improvements, and lead cross-functional projects across Operations, IT, and Finance to improve safety, efficiency, and service levels.
The role combines industrial engineering rigor with systems enablement, focusing on labor standards, slotting optimization, and technology integrations (Manhattan WMS, ERP, TMS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 5–10 years in supply chain, warehousing, logistics, industrial engineering, or operational excellence
- Experience leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives
- Experience with warehouse operations and supply chain tech
- Advanced Excel and Office Suite proficiency; knowledge of WMS/WCS systems
Responsibilities
- Analyze warehouse processes, workflows, layouts, material flows, and inventory strategies.
- Lead capacity, labor standards, and workflow optimization studies.
- Drive cross-functional process improvements across Operations, IT, and Finance.
- Develop business cases and test plans for new solutions and automation.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement improvements.
