Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer

Are you a Machinery Diagnostic Engineer looking for a new opportunity? Would you like to help shape and implement our Bently Nevada Diagnostics Services? Join our Bently Nevada Engineering team.

Bently Nevada, a Baker Hughes business, offers a plant-wide, holistic suite of machine condition monitoring and protection solutions that help customers achieve the highest level of asset reliability possible.

As a Machinery Diagnostics Engineer, you are tasked to provide customer service solutions to address critical rotating machinery assets, protection, and monitoring systems. This includes evaluating machinery conditions based on vibration analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnosing machinery problems based on vibration data, operational data, and customer communications
  • Building relationships with customers to provide a high level of service, becoming their trusted advisor for their rotating equipment health
  • Traveling to customer sites to provide supporting service
  • Writing technical reports with conclusions and recommendations for customer equipment after each assignment
  • Defining KPIs to analyze and measure performance, proposing improvements and action plans
  • Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Overseeing the preparation of invoices, technical documents, and manufacturing records, ensuring compliance with internal documentation systems
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university, or a 2-year technical degree with 4+ years of industry experience
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Power Generation, Chemical Plants, or similar industries
  • Mechanical experience with rotating equipment in relevant industries
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 80% for on-site work
  • Valid passport and driver’s license
