Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer

Are you a Machinery Diagnostic Engineer looking for a new opportunity? Would you like to help shape and implement our Bently Nevada Diagnostics Services?

Join our Bently Nevada Engineering team. Bently Nevada, a Baker Hughes business, offers a plant-wide, holistic suite of machine condition monitoring and protection solutions that help customers achieve the highest level of asset reliability.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Diagnose machinery problems based on vibration data, operational data, and customer communications.
  • Build relationships with customers to provide high-level service, becoming their trusted advisor for rotating equipment health.
  • Travel to customer sites to provide support services.
  • Write technical reports with conclusions and recommendations for customer equipment after each assignment.
  • Define KPIs to analyze performance and propose improvements.
  • Apply HS&E standards and procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Oversee preparation of invoices, technical documents, and manufacturing records, ensuring compliance with internal documentation standards.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 2-year technical degree with 4+ years of industry experience.
  • Knowledge/experience in Power Generation, Chemical Plants, or similar industries.
  • Mechanical experience with rotating equipment.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 80% and hold a valid driver’s license and passport.
