Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking an Engine Field Service Technician to diagnose and complete engine repairs at customer sites in Val-d’Or, Canada. The role involves field coverage, on-site diagnostics, and maintaining detailed service records.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engine overhauls, using diagnostic software, and complying with Cummins safety policies. A clean 5-year MVR and QSK 15-19 certification are required, with travel up to 50% in some regions.

Job Summary:

Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site.

We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician to join our Distribution business in Val D'Or.

Will make an impact in the following ways:

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop

• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles

• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

• Maintain own tools

Technician will be used for coverage in various regions in Canada

The shift is 14 on and 14 off rotational shift

Travel will be up to a min of 50% of the time in some cases - Bilingual communication skills is preferred
