We are seeking a talented local Field Service Technician to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario.

This is a field service diesel technician role with the benefit of a company-supplied vehicle.

In this role, you will make an impact by:

• Establishing and developing productive customer relations and ensuring prompt attention to customer needs.
• Using specialized tools and following documented procedures to diagnose and repair complex issues at customer sites.
• Performing preventative maintenance on engines and components in the field.
• Escalating unresolved issues to product specialists or supervisors.
• Coaching and developing technicians and apprentices, sharing knowledge, and possibly providing work direction.
• Completing required documentation and identifying additional sales and service opportunities.
• Participating in training aligned with skill and business needs.
• Maintaining the service vehicle and tools in good condition.
• Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and reporting issues accordingly.

Minimum requirements include:

• 310T/421A Red Seal Endorsement (mandatory).
• Valid local driver’s license (preferred).
• Possibility of licensing for export controls or sanctions compliance.

Experience and qualifications:

• Significant field service experience, especially with Transit/Automotive, On-highway, Agricultural, Marine, and Industrial engines.
• Experience with high horsepower engines (19L and above).
• Knowledge of or experience with engine products at an expert level.
• Customer service experience and ability to provide technical advice and coaching.
• Training in Nat Gas/EV (TSSA Certified) is an asset.

Additional information:

• Union environment with working hours from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Work primarily in the GTA area.

• Copy of red seal certification or trade diploma.
• Copy of a 5-year driver’s abstract.
• Valid local driver’s license.

This is a full-time, entry-level management and manufacturing role within the manufacturing industry, with salaries ranging from $73,600 to $110,400. Relocation assistance is available.
