Pratt & Whitney Canada is seeking an experienced Quality Auditor for Assembly Plants in Mississauga and Lethbridge. You will lead internal audits of the engine center QMS, develop risk-based plans, and drive process improvements across sites.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, mentoring new auditors, and collaborating with teams to ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO9001. This on-site role requires travel between plants and a strong quality mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or Business with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in quality systems, auditing, manufacturing, or related technical environment.
• Experience conducting quality system and process audits.
• Experience with root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience interpreting and applying quality standards, procedures, and regulatory/customer requirements.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001 requirements.
• Experience in aeronautics or manufacturing/assembly.

As an auditor for Assembly Plants in Mississauga and Lethbridge, you will report to the Quality Discipline Chief for the engine centers. You will be responsible for completing the internal audit plan for both sites, and following up on the completion of any issues raised. You will also participate in maintaining internal and external standards and requirements within our policies, procedures, and regulations, such as AS9100. As a quality expert, you will work with the engine center teams to continuously improve our business processes.

This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position with flexible hours. The role requires frequent travel between our Lethbridge and Mississauga plants and is performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Lead internal audits of the engine center quality management system (QMS).
• Develop a risk-based audit plan to ensure adequate coverage of all QMS elements, processes and sites.
• Conduct process and product audits to evaluate compliance, effectiveness, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support and coordinate external audits.
• Independently plan, execute and close audit; ensure findings accuracy, objectiveness, and supported by evidence.
• Evaluate root causes and effectiveness of corrective actions; verify closure.
• Mentor and develop new auditors.
• Analyze quality performance data and trends to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
• Support teams in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain current knowledge of aerospace industry requirements, regulations and best practices.

What do you need to be successful?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or Business, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in quality systems, auditing, manufacturing, or a related technical environment.
• Experience conducting quality system and process audits.
• Experience with root-cause analysis, corrective action, and problem-solving methodologies.

The salary range for this role is 101,500 CAD - 151,500 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
