Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. in Grande Prairie, AB is seeking an Energy Service Tech (Laborer) to join the Surface Rentals team. This General Laborer role focuses on safety, quality maintenance, and responsive service for equipment in the field.

You will mobilize and maintain assets, assist with rig operations, and complete essential documentation. Travel for 1–4 weeks and working long hours away from home are expected. Full-time position with benefits available after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
• Valid CSO, H2S and First Aid ticket.
• Knowledge of industrial, production services, wellsites, wastewater or remote accommodations is desirable.
• Ability to travel 1–4 weeks at a time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting safely at all times.
• Assist with mobilization and maintenance of assets in the field.
• Assist with rig up and rig down of solids control equipment such as centrifuges.
• Assist with tear-out of all assets and equipment at project completion.
• Complete documentation for the work performed (JSAs, work orders, inspections, time entry, logs, inventory management).
• Operate and maintain assigned vehicle per Clean Harbors policies.
• Ability to work on-call on a rotating basis.
• WASHING and servicing of equipment.
• Ability to work long hours away from home in remote locations.
