Job summary

BIS Safety Software Inc. in Sherwood Park, Alberta is seeking a Video Producer to own the end-to-end video process. You will plan, shoot, and edit content across podcasts, tutorials, product features, and campaigns, collaborating with marketing and social teams.

You will drive quality, pace, and polish, while guiding freelancers and AI tooling to maximize output. This is an in-person role with occasional travel for client and event shoots.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shooting and editing video professionally.
• A reel or portfolio showing range: long-form, short-form, instructional.
• Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut.
• Hands-on camera, lighting, and audio for interviews and studio setups.
• Evidence of a sustained production cadence.
• Experience with AI video tools such as Kling, Runway, or Descript.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit video end to end, from concept through to the finished cut.
• Decide where video effort pays and bring us a plan for it rather than waiting for a brief.
• Produce our Safety Spotlight podcast and cut it into shorts and learning clips.
• Create tutorial and how-to content that helps customers get value from what they have bought.
• Produce product feature videos on a regular cadence.
• Produce commercial and campaign video for digital advertising and tradeshows.
• Capture webinars, panels, and client site visits, and turn that footage into finished content.
• Run a shoot properly: schedule it, art direct it, direct the people in front of the camera, and deliver on the date you committed to.
• Use AI tooling and freelance support to get more made while maintaining quality.
• Keep footage and project files organized so our social team and others can find the work.
