Job summary

Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity seeks a Content Producer to capture cinema-quality video and edit across campus projects, including interviews, performances, and podcasts. You will write copy, manage assets, and contribute to content plans for marketing and social media with a storyteller's cadence.

The role requires hands-on videography, audio editing, and collaboration with a cross-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of content production experience, with video editing in cross-functional marketing teams.
• Undergraduate degree or diploma in production, film, digital video, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and time management for multiple tasks.
• Self-starter who can work with broad direction without close supervision.
• Ability to manage content production workflows across written, audio, and video outputs.
• Experience lighting productions and operating 4K cinema cameras.
• Proficiency with Apple/Mac and Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Videography across marketing and communications projects, from b-roll to documentary-style capture.
• Audio capture and editing for podcasts and video pieces.
• Video and animation editing of materials filmed by self or others.
• Write scripts or stories for video production.
• Plan and manage content calendars and collaborate with team members.
• Organize and manage digital assets; obtain permissions and location signatures.
