The Council for Canada is hiring a Case Manager based in Calgary, Alberta. As part of our Family Mentorship Program, a department of the Future Ready Initiative, you will be a crucial ally, advocate, and support for families navigating life’s biggest challenges.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide one-on-one support: Build genuine, one-on-one relationships through home visits and regular check-ins, offering direct, empathetic guidance tailored to each family’s self-determined goals.
  • Navigate life’s challenges: Help families master essential life skills and navigate complex hurdles around housing, financial wellness, healthcare, and legal matters.
  • Deliver trauma-informed care: Work through a harm-reduction and trauma-informed lens, ensuring every individual in the family feels safe, supported, and empowered.
  • Bridge the gap to resources:Act as the ultimate bridge builder, linking families to vital community resources like mental health and addiction support, housing networks, income and legal supports.
