Job summary

Dentalcorp Health Services LTD. in Toronto is seeking an HR Advisor to provide practical employee relations guidance to leaders, managing workplace matters from intake through resolution.

You will coach leaders on performance, attendance, conduct, and accommodations, conduct fact-finding and investigations, and maintain audit-ready case records while collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure compliant, fair outcomes.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years progressive HR experience including employee relations and performance management.
• Experience conducting fact-finding or workplace investigations.
• Knowledge of employment standards and human rights across Canadian jurisdictions.
• Ability to coach leaders and manage multiple cases with timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned employee relations cases from intake through closure.
• Provide timely guidance, documentation, and follow-through.
• Coach leaders on performance, attendance, conduct, and accommodations.
• Conduct fact-finding and investigations with objective summaries and recommendations.
• Support leaves, disability management, Workers’ Compensation, and return-to-work matters.
• Identify risks and escalate complex matters appropriately.
• Maintain audit-ready case records and identify process improvements.
