Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide compassionate care to residents according to care plans, maintaining safety and supporting daily living activities in our community.

You will monitor residents, document care details, participate in in-service education, assist onboarding of new staff, and uphold IPAC policies to ensure a clean, respectful, and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate PSW certificate/diploma required.
• Must meet vocational standards by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Must meet standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Must meet standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.

Responsibilities

• Monitor care to ensure conformity with care plan.
• Document information pertaining to resident care.
• Attend in-service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding of new staff.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
