Job summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is hiring an Emergency Medical Technician- PCP for Redvers Health Centre. This part-time regular position (FTE 0.67) covers Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends and Standby shifts with a total of 224 hours per 8 weeks.

Requirements include Primary Care Paramedic diploma, EMT/PCP registration, ITLS and BLS certification, and a valid Class 4 license. Salary band is $29.909–$36.572 per hour with HSAS union consideration.

Qualifications

• The EMT-PCP responds to calls and provides initial assessment, treatment and transport.
• PCP diploma required; ITLS and BLS training beneficial.
• EMT/PCP registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls and provide transport.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient care.
