Job summary

Lampman Health Centre is seeking a part-time Emergency Medical Technician to respond to both emergent and non-emergent calls, providing advanced life support, initial assessments, treatment, and transportation in accordance with provincial protocols.

The role requires PCP/EMT certification, ITLS, and BLS, with a valid Class 4 license. Applicants should be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team and independently, with shifts spanning days, nights, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP) or equivalent.
• International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) certification.
• Registered EMT/PCP with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Class 4 driver's license.
• Documentation of essential interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergent and non-emergent calls and provide ALS.
• Perform initial assessment, treatment and transportation of patients.
• Follow Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations and EHS protocols.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and independently as required.
