Job summary

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) is seeking an Advisor, Emergency Management & Operational Resilience to support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of emergency management and continuity programs at Toronto Pearson. You will provide subject matter expertise and coordinate with partners to ensure regulatory compliance and organizational resilience.

This role requires extensive knowledge of emergency management, OCEMP, IMS/ICS concepts, and the ability to lead

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in airport operations or emergency management.
• 2–5 years designing, coordinating, and evaluating emergency exercises.
• Experience supporting EOC readiness and training programs.
• IMS/ICS certification or trainer certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain Transportation Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits, quality assurance, and incident reporting for emergency programs.
• Maintain and improve OCEMP frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Review emergency records, activations, and after-action reports.
• Develop and validate the Airport Emergency Plan and related docs.
• Coordinate training, drills, and tabletop exercises with stakeholders.
• Support EOC activations and emergency response coordination.
