Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient flow of communication between health professionals, departments, patients and families while maintaining confidentiality.
• Provide reception, greet and direct visitors, patients and health professionals, and maintain patient records/charts.
• Transcribe and process physician orders and schedule patient tests/treatments.
• Perform a range of administrative activities to support the unit.
