Role Overview

We are hiring an Embedded Linux Field Engineer to expand our reach in industries like Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Telco, as well as Consumer Electronics. Ideal candidates are Linux experts, proficient in OS internals, containerization, and system debugging. This role involves working with Ubuntu Server and Ubuntu Core, focusing on security, resilience, and expanding Linux solutions for embedded environments.

Responsibilities

1. Engage with customers during presales to gather requirements and explain our technology
2. Design solutions for prospective clients
3. Participate in delivering embedded Linux projects
4. Communicate market needs to internal stakeholders and contribute to solution development
5. Act as a customer advocate and trusted advisor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Extensive experience with Linux (Debian/Ubuntu preferred)
• Embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot, RTOS)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust
• Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written)
• Strong communication, presentation, and multitasking skills
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
• Proactive learner and team player

Preferred Skills

• Experience with customer engagement (a plus)
