Job summary

The Aqua Life Swim Academy in Canada is seeking a dedicated swim instructor to teach lessons to children and adults across skill levels. You will follow our curriculum, provide personalized guidance, and monitor safety and progress in the water.

Responsibilities include teaching strokes and water safety, fostering a positive learning environment, and maintaining accurate attendance records. Must hold valid SFA and CPR-C with NL, and have prior swim-instructor experience.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instructor experience is required.
• SFA and CPR-C, and NL are required.
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of strokes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct swimming lessons for children and adults of various skill levels, following our established curriculum and lesson plans.
• Provide personalized instruction and guidance to each student, ensuring safety and progress in the water.
• Assess students' swimming abilities and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
• Teach proper swimming techniques, including strokes, breathing, and water safety skills.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to develop confidence and enjoy swimming.
• Maintain accurate records of students' progress and attendance.
