Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair complex HVAC systems in field settings. You’ll install and calibrate equipment, service refrigeration, and maintain safe, compliant operations while advancing with world-class training and a supportive team.

The ideal candidate has a 5+ year HVAC journeyman background, G2 Gas and HVAC 313A licenses, a valid driver’s license, and union eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience as an HVAC journeyman.
• G2 Gas License/Certificate in the area, HVAC 313A License.
• Valid driver's license and union membership eligibility.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights, in good standing with the union.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain air-conditioning and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in heating and cooling units.
• Install, replace and calibrate HVAC equipment including thermostatic controls.
• Service refrigeration equipment and maintain water systems.
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulations; maintain detailed records.
• Collaborate with management to uphold safety and standards.
