Duties

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and refrigeration systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential problems before they escape.
• Utilize specialized tools such as electrical testing.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance data.

Requirements

• Sheet metal Apprentice, Journeyman or B ticket considered an asset.
• Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a solid understanding of HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems and mechanical knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or maintenance is highly desirable.
• Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans accurately.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications and property maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems.
• Mechanical skills including equipment repair.
• Strong field service experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently on-site.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with testing tools such as ohmmeters and familiarity with HVAC/R safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently in diverse environments.
