Job summary

The Vancouver Board of Education (VSB) welcomes applications for the position of:

Elementary Teachers-TTOC (On-Call)

The Board's general requirement is that TTOC's be available for call-out on 50% of the instructional days in any month.
We are focusing on hiring TTOC's who are interested in taking long-term contracts.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a Bachelor of Education
  • Recent contract teaching experience and/or student teaching experienceis required
  • Membership in or eligible to become a member of the Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB)
  • Registration with Teacher Qualifications Service (TQS)

  • Reports/Evaluations (lesson observations/mid-term reports not accepted):
    • RecentGraduates - include Final Practicum Reports
    • Experienced Teachers - include Teaching Evaluation within the past 8 years
  • At least 3 Professional References -email and phone numbers
    • Recent Graduates: Faculty Advisor, School Advisor(s)and your most recent employer. In addition, you may also include your Principal or Vice Principal
    • Experienced Teachers: your most current Principal, Vice Principal and previous Administrator(s)
