Job summary

Oxford Learning Niagara Falls is seeking a part-time elementary teacher-tutor to support English and French instruction after school and on Saturdays. This in-person role requires reliable commute to the Niagara Falls centre and managing up to three students with pre-planned lessons.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s or equivalent, knowledge of K-9 curriculum, and be willing to undergo a vulnerable sector screening; teaching certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in a relevant field.
• Teaching certification an asset.
• Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 9 curriculum.
• Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels.
• Teaching in-person.
• Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Filling in post-lesson notes.
• Completing daily student communication updates.
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times.
