Job summary

Innovasea in Bedford, NS is seeking a full-time Electronics Tech to support production of our fish-tracking products. You will assemble, test, and repair electronics, PCBs, and assemblies, working closely with the Production Supervisor and engineering team.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing, strong soldering skills for surface mount components, and a solid ability to read schematics. Excellent writing and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics manufacturing or electronics design.
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Strong writing and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.
• Repair jigs and fixtures as needed.
• Support build and test of electronic products, cables, and assemblies.
• Troubleshoot PCBs with unexpected behaviour.
• Assist with pressure testing and inspection of PCBs and machined parts.
• Move new products into production with Production Engineering.
