ELECTRONICS TEAM LEAD

As the Electronics Team Lead, you will lead the design and build of embedded electronics for low-power real-time aerospace systems. Your work will directly impact product performance and reliability. What you’ll do:

1. Own the design and development of low-power microcontroller-based boards with BLE, battery and solar charging systems.
2. Drive innovation in ultra-low power design for aerospace-grade wireless IoT applications.
3. Scope, design and lead electrical architecture, PCB layout, testing and validation.
4. Work with communications protocols, including ARINC, CANBUS, and Ethernet.
5. Collaborate with firmware, mechanical and product teams for cross-functional development.
6. Document design and testing processes for regulatory and quality assurance purposes.
7. Lead and mentor a growing electronics engineering team.

Required Qualifications:

1. BSc or higher in Electronics Engineering or related field.
2. 5+ years of quantifiable, hands-on experience in PCB and electronics system design.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Strong understanding and practical experience with:
1. BLE protocols and integration.
2. Li-Ion battery systems, solar panels, and power management circuits.
3. Low-power design for micro-controllers and wireless sensors.
4. Microcontrollers/processors familiarity and design experience: Nordic, STM32, TI-MSP430, ESP32, Silicon Labs, or similar.
5. Demonstrable leadership experience building and scaling engineering teams.
6. Ability to thrive in a high-ownership, innovative culture is a must.
