Job summary

You will troubleshoot hardware and software on Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows, perform repairs with specialized tools, support data security, and help prepare devices for resale or recycling.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Consumer electronics/IT program is an asset.
• Experience testing, troubleshooting, or repairing electronics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose, repair, and refurbish consumer electronics including smartphones, tablets, and computers.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows.
• Perform component replacements, upgrades, and soldering with specialized tools.
• Inspect devices for operational and cosmetic quality and prepare them for resale or refurbishment.
• Ensure secure data wiping and adhere to privacy requirements (PIPEDA).
• Utilize internal systems to track repair progress and inventory movement.
