Job summary

Creation Technologies in Vancouver, BC is seeking Production Specialists to monitor quality across receiving, assembly and final testing of PCBA and related parts. You will inspect with microscopes, calipers, AOI and other devices, and assist with assembly as needed.

Applicants should have IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-600 knowledge, strong attention to detail, teamwork and safety awareness. Afternoon shift available with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Required: minimum 1 year in industry (inspector, manufacturing assembly operator or equivalent).
• Proficient written and verbal communication to describe defects to all levels.
• Organized and detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
• Knowledge of IPC and IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-600.
• Able to read and follow assembly documentation and SOPs.
• Upholds safety protocols in production environments.
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products and components against specifications and reject unacceptable materials.
• Use inspection tools such as microscope, calipers, AOI, or similar devices.
• Inspect assemblies through the manufacturing process.
• Perform product assembly as required.
• Operate inspection devices (e.g., X-ray, AOI).
• Capture and register inspection data in required systems.
• Follow non-conformance procedures with supervisor guidance.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
