Job summary

Mangrove Lithium in Delta, BC, is seeking a Plant Operator to run electrochemical processing equipment and ensure the efficient operation of our new battery-grade lithium facility.

The role includes commissioning, start-ups/shutdowns, handling chemical batches, and operating digestors, brine treatment, evaporators, crystallizers, and the proprietary electrolyser.

You will monitor SCADA/HMI systems, follow SOPs, train teammates, and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with basic chemistry understanding.
• 3–5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with electrochemical systems, water treatment, and crystallization is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring safety and environmental rules are followed.
• Monitor electrochemical plant operations via SCADA/HMI and gauges.
• Perform start-up, shutdown, and operations of process equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
• Identify and solve process and equipment problems.
• Suggest plant improvement strategies.
• Maintain operation activity logs.
• Train new hires and cross-train staff.
