Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Associate degree in chemical technology preferred.
• Hands-on experience with instrumental and wet analytical techniques.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bench scale electrochemical cell experiments.
• Prepare test solutions and reagents; advise and coordinate test procedures.
• Support R&D projects involving process development and material characterization.
• Determine chemical and physical properties and compositions of solutions.
• Identify and solve process and equipment problems.
• Develop and optimize analytical protocols for new materials and processes.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to test and optimize processes or products.
• Discuss results with the team to interpret data and inform next steps.
• Write technical reports and prepare standards for processes and tests.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and procure supplies.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures.
