Job summary

Saltworks Technologies Inc. in Viewfield, Saskatchewan, is seeking an Operations Engineer to join an on-site team launching a first-of-its-kind lithium demonstration plant near Stoughton.

You will support startup activities, system tuning, troubleshooting, and early-stage process optimization during the 12- to 18-month demonstration period. Potential opportunities to continue with Saltworks at the Richmond, BC HQ or back in Saskatchewan, supporting future expansion.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years hands-on engineering experience required.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to a clean, organized work environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Commission, operate, and optimize the lithium demonstration systems with training and senior support.
• Maintain safety by following procedures and keeping workspace organized.
• Collect, analyze, and document process data including wet-lab testing.
