Actualisation: HR Solutions for Businesses is seeking an Electro mechanic for a growing company active in food processing and packaging. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing and maintaining automated equipment to prevent breakdowns.

Based in Montreal-East, the position offers a permanent, full-time schedule from 10am to 6:30pm, with day/evening shifts. Candidates must hold a DEP in electromechanics and have 2–3 years of relevant experience in food-related industries.

Qualifications

• Hold a DEP in electromechanics, industrial mechanics or any other relevant disciplines.
• Have 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Have experience in the agri-food, pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (between 4 and 6 degrees Celsius)
• Able to be autonomous and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid and accurate diagnostics of mechanical and electrical problems
• Analyze, repair and resolve a problem or defect on an automated machine
• Regularly monitor and prevent the risk of breakdowns (greasing, usage checks, changing defective parts, etc.)
