Job summary

Maibec Inc. in Nova Scotia is seeking an Electrician to perform electrical PMs, troubleshoot PLC and 4160V systems, and support continuous improvement and safety programs onsite.

The role requires reading electrical drawings, familiarity with HV equipment, and the ability to train apprentices and site personnel. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, with a focus on safe trade practices and reliability.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of PLC
• Electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience in HMI software is an asset
• Experience on VFD is an asset
• 4160V or other high voltage experience is an asset
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations
