2 ‑ Full Time ‑ Electrician
Maintenance

Reporting to the Manager ‑ Facilities & Biomedical Services and Coordinators (Electrical, Controls and Systems, Physical Plant and Mechanical), the Electrician is responsible for conducting planned and preventative electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while ensuring a safe and cost-effective environment.

Qualifications:
  • Current certificate of qualification in Ontario as an Electrician (Construction/Maintenance) with at least 5 years of recent experience.
  • A valid class G Ontario driver's license.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience and knowledge in:

  • Electrical maintenance in healthcare facilities.
  • Building automation systems.
  • Ordering parts and recommending equipment purchases.
  • Updating electrical as-built and single-line diagrams.
  • Heating and cooling principles in building environments.
  • Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment and systems.
  • Testing diesel backup generators and fire alarm/sprinkler systems.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • VFD installation, programming, and maintenance.
  • Automatic door systems, parking gate systems, security systems including card scanning, and surveillance systems.
Salary Range:

$36.67 – 38.16 per hour
