Job description

We’re seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex production equipment in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and related automation devices.
• Enhancing equipment performance through recommended improvements.
• Working from drawings, instructions, and sketches to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Ensuring all operations comply with GMPs, HACCP, WHMIS, and safety standards.

Qualifications include:

• Electrician license.
• Experience in manufacturing is an asset.
• Full set of personal/professional hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and excellent communication abilities.
