Overview

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. We operate 17 plants across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, converting aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for various industries. Our advanced technologies enable us to process a wide range of scrap and dross, reducing residual waste from aluminum manufacturing, which helps protect the environment. This position is based in MISSISSAUGA, CANADA.

Responsibilities

• Respond to electrical emergencies and perform installations and repairs of electrical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot circuits to ensure proper operation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and plan electrical installations.
• Coordinate with procurement and log work progress.
• Train employees and promote safety and efficiency.
• Implement 6S principles and assist with inventory management.
• Assemble and calibrate machinery as needed.
• Contribute to team communication and ongoing maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience.
• Hold a 442a Red Seal Certification or be a Level 3 Apprentice.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, electrical diagrams, and code specifications.
• Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools, and accurately use voltmeters.
• Compliant with safety regulations (ESA, CSA, TSSA).
