Job summary

Marwood International Inc. is seeking an Electrician in Ingersoll, ON to perform maintenance, wiring, and troubleshooting for automotive manufacturing equipment.

The role requires a recognized Electrician License and Grade 12 or equivalent, with a strong focus on PLCs, wiring, and electrical system diagnostics. The position offers a rotating shift (6a-4p / 4p-2a) with hourly pay of $46.00 plus shift premiums and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Grade 12, GED, or equivalent.
• Recognized Electrician License.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventative maintenance on machinery/equipment.
• Wire new panels for machinery/equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery/equipment as needed.
• Program/revise new and existing machinery as needed.
• Report on work performed and time spent to Maintenance Group Leader.
• Complete maintenance work requests, CIF's as required.
• Programming of PLC's and robots.
• Select, install and repair bussways, conduit, cables.
• Read and interpret ladder logic and drawings.
• Install and maintain lighting and emergency systems.
• All other relevant duties.

• Read, interpret and revise ladder logic, distribution, mechanical architectural, fluid power, alarm system, visual equipment and instrumentation drawings
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot high-intensity discharge, fluorescent and incandescent lighting, measure and report illumination levels and install and maintain emergency lighting systems
• All other relevant duties

Key Requirements

• Grade 12, GED, or equivalent
• Recognized Electrician License
