Job summary

Winland Foods is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of operations at our Stoney Creek plant. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation controls to support production and utility systems.

The role requires rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights) with overtime, a 8-hour schedule, and a location at 944 Highway 8, Stoney Creek, Ontario. Benefits include medical, dental, RRSP with match, life insurance, and more.

Qualifications

  • Availability to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, nights) with some overtime.
  • C of Q – Industrial or Construction Electrician (309A or 442).
  • Allen Bradley PLC experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Problem solving and planning.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and value teamwork.
  • Food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate and test electrical and instrumentation equipment to required standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair controls, electrical components and systems in facility, utilities, and production areas.
  • Preventative maintenance and repair on electrical/instrumentation equipment.
  • Attend ongoing training on new equipment and maintenance practices.
