Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking an HVAC Technician to service equipment and support installation projects in the Oshawa area. You will follow manufacturer specs, local codes, and safety practices while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent is required.
• Gas Technician II license is mandatory.
• C of Q as Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario 313d) is required.
• ODP card and valid Class G driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Professionally service HVAC equipment and accessories per manufacturer specs and local codes.
• Ensure safe operation of new installations and instruct customers on care and maintenance.
• Build positive relationships with customers and upsell other products and services.
• Be willing to learn and grow as part of a progressive team.
• Maintain clear and effective communication and problem-solving to satisfy customers.

What will you do?

• To ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care, maintenance.

• You will be responsible for creating a positive relationship with customers; offering for sale other company products, services and demonstrating your ability to communicate, problem solve, to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Must have a Gas Technician II license.
• Received certificate of qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – 313d).
• Must have valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card.
• Must have at least a Class G Driver’s License.
• Be willing and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.
• Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Must have outstanding customer service skills.
• Very punctual and dependable
