Job Description and Requirements

We are seeking an individual to join our Electrical Maintenance team at TC Transcontinental Printing, Canada's largest printer. Our Calgary location prints flyers, the Globe and Mail, and the Calgary Herald.

Our maintenance department operates on a shift rotation: two day shifts, two night shifts, and 4 days off. Shifts are 12 hours long, with a night shift premium of $2.40 per hour. Benefits are available after 3 months, including a pension plan, profit sharing, onsite gym, boot and tool allowances, and more.

As part of our Electrical Maintenance team, you'll support production by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues on presses and building systems, and responding to various technical problems. This role suits someone who enjoys challenges, variety, and problem-solving.

We prioritize health and safety, providing training and requiring PPE such as hearing protection, safety glasses, CSA steel-toed boots, uniforms, and masks. Employees will work on their feet and perform physical tasks like lifting, pushing, and bending.
